Click, Send, Goddammit!

Gmail now has a setting that allows you to "undo" sending an e-mail for up to a few seconds after you click "Send". At first I thought, "Just a few seconds? What difference is that ever going to make!" But as you can see from this chart, that's all you really need. No?

(P.S.: Same applies for blog posts really, but at least I can always click "Edit" with those!)

They should introduce a recall for unread messages, like how we have with our office email.

Didn't they have one where you had to do some math before sending email? Or am I confusing two different settings?

I could use a feature like that while texting. Sigh. How many embarassing texts I could have prevented instead of watching the damn thing 'sending message' helplessly :((
