Sorry for being a nitpick but if you are comparing the same value of avg beauty, the spot on the x-axis should be same, not at two different points and comparing two diff values of avg beauty doesn't make sense. In other words, you need to plot this though lines not dots.
A certain someone - What this is supposed to mean is the equivalent of the English statement - "The average German girl is much more beautiful that the average Indian girl". Why would that merit the two spots on the X-axis being the same?
That requires a bar graph, where there's a single variable value, beauty. then 'average german/indian girl' is not a measurable factor, just an instance whose beauty is measured. putting it in on x-axis makes it measurable and thus requires multiple data points. BTW, in case it's not clear, this is the guy who sits 6 floors above you at work.
I like these visualizations. @A certain someone, average beauty is as measurable as single beauty. A scatter plot with 2 points makes complete sense here. Your point (if I understand it) would have made sense if arnold was trying to say that 'a hot girl in germany gets less attention than a plain girl in india', which he is not.
That's a corollary to a theorm from Applied Darwinism: Gratification rewards will enhance while potential competition will seemingly peter out as you move away from your domicile surroundings. However, fructification probabilities will considerably diminish.
I do not find the average German woman more beautiful than the average Indian woman. That is not to say your chart is wrong from *your* point of view - and it is your blog, after all, so you're entitled to your point of view, however silly it may be :D
I think where German women score over Indian women is two D's, no it's not what you're thinking, I meant Deo and Depilation. Unless you like the whole au naturel thingy, the German chick might be a better deal. On the other hand, the average Indian woman bathes every day :D
The views on this blog are not necessarily those of my family, my friends, my girlfriend, my employer or anyone else you might associate with me. Sometimes they are not even mine. If you feel overly offended by anything, please feel free to sue yourself.

Is the x-axis on a log scale? ;)

@siddhu - Glad to see that you agree!
@A certain someone - Such levels of geekiness need no introduction.

@KT - Thanks for the backing up!
@Thosket - Come again in English?

Whew. Difficult decision there.
@Deepa Krishnan: I think those two D's are quite important. Grooming plays a big part in how good a woman looks.
